FG-55 GPRS modem is the Quad Band GPRS Modem which supports TCP/IP connectivity. The modem is TCP/IP stack access via AT commands for Internet Services: TCP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3.The TCP/IP connectivity based on GPRS Class 10 data transmission. Featuring an even more stable but still compatible mount, it brings the benefits of utmost flexibility and robustness to your development efforts on M2M communication over mobile and TCP/IP network data M2M wireless communication. It’s direct and easy integration with RS232 serial interface or USB interface, makes this device perfect solution for system integrators and single user on SMS, Voice or data communication.
You can Insert a GSM SIM card into this modem, and connect the modem to an available serial port or USB port of your computer system. It is also programmable with AT command.
